Recommendation before first wear:
Wash the kimono inside out separately or with dark colors 1–2 times before first wear. Maximum 40°C and tumble dry at 400 rpm. Adding salt or vinegar to the wash helps the color bind better to the fibres. Dry in the shade and avoid fabric softeners. After the initial washes, color transfer will decrease significantly and your kimono will develop a beautiful, distinctive denim character.
